Beyond teaching, these classes serve a specific purpose to train and impart knowledge and practical skills that equip the body for the specific ministry they highlight. We are in the process of creating and developing new classes for our church. Please stay tuned!
Membership Class
Our membership class is a great next step for those who would like to learn more about Epicentre’s vision, values, and history. The class will give you a great opportunity to meet other attenders, understand our ministry philosophy, ask questions, and become a member if you decide. Our membership class takes place on Saturday mornings twice a year so please see the church calendar for the next scheduled session.
Apprentice Training
This is a 4 week training class for Apprentices in Lifegroups. They take place twice a year on Sunday afternoons from 2:30p-4:30p at the church office. Please see the calendar for upcoming classes. The class will cover the following topics:
- Vision and Values for Lifegroups
- Tools for Studying and Facilitating Discussions on Scripture
- Responsibilities and Practicals of Lifegroup Leading
- Framework and Modeling of Prayer Minsitry
Financial Peace University
Financial Peace University (FPU) is a financial program designed by Dave Ramsey that gives a framework for understanding money, equipping students with tools of how to make money work for you. Students receive practical advice and a roadmap for getting free of debt, saving, building into the future, and living generously. This course is a 12-week program featuring video presentations by Dave Ramsey, small group discussion, and personal study through a FPU membership packet (textbook, workbook, lifetime FPU membership). Enrollment is $100 for the membership packet. This class takes place once a year. Please refer to the calendar for more information.
Premarital Class
For engaged couples, married couples, and seriously dating couples, our premarital class is a 7-week course hosted once a year at the church office. Through small group discussions, guest lecturers, and utilizing Drs. Les & Leslie Parrott’s “Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts” curriculum, couples will strengthen their relationships and gain perspective, knowledge, and tools that will help them prepare for a lifetime of marital alignment.
