John Lo, Lead Pastor
John was led to pastoral ministry in his quest to help people. During his 13 years with FEC Glendale (Epicentre’s home church), John served as youth pastor for 8 years and as young adult pastor for 5 years before planting Epicentre Church in 2003. Over the years, he has become increasingly gripped by God’s love for people of all nations and unabashedly inspires and equips people toward God-sized destinies. As a visionary leader, John’s primary role is preaching & teaching, leading new initiatives, and igniting strategic apostolic leaders. John, his wife Evelyn, and their son, Josh, live in Glendale, CA, where they enjoy really good sushi, time at the beach and watching Josh swim at his swim meets.
Jessie Lam, Executive Assistant
Having served on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) in Atlanta, GA, Jessie joined Epicentre in 2010. Jessie strategically supports the Executive Team and Lead Pastor at Epicentre. Jessie, her husband Roger, and their two sons, Micah and Isaiah, live in Pasadena, CA, and love bargain hunting and tasting Southern Californian cuisine.
Paul Graf, Executive Pastor
Having served on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and in India as a missionary for the last 6 years, Paul joined Epicentre staff as the Executive Pastor in September 2012. He and his wife Rebecca, and three children live in Temple City, CA.
Debbie Sayovitz, Family Pastor
After a very successful career as a registered nurse focusing on end of life care and as the National Director of Discipleship for Cleansing Stream Ministries, Debbie joined Epicentre staff on September 2012 as our family pastor and inner healing director. She is an accomplished speaker and teaches topics related to deliverance and healing, prayer ministry, and marriage. Debbie and her husband Mike reside in La Canada, CA and are proud parents and grandparents.
Shirleen, Missions and Training School Administrator
Shirleen joined Epicentre staff as our missions and training school administrator in May 2012.
Joshua Chen, Administrator
Josh joined the Epicentre staff team on September 2012 as the church administrator. He and his wife Charmain, and 2 lovely daughters, Maddie and Izzy, reside in Pasadena, CA where you can find them around Fuller campus.
Annie Thaichareon, Director of Children’s Ministry
Annie joined Epicentre’s staff team in 2008 with a love for the enormous faith and openness that children have towards God. Her desire is to partner with families to see children walking in their rightful identities in Christ so that they can reach their Spirit-filled potential. Annie, her husband Steve, and their two children, Sera and Ryan, live in Pasadena, CA. They are frequent “Yelp-ers,” love desserts, and enjoy spending time together.
Ben Hui, Worship Director
With a pastoral calling, Ben became the worship director in 2008. His passion and focus is marrying intimacy and the prophetic as we minister to the Lord. Ben, his wife Eunice, and their daughter, Shiloh, live in Pasadena, CA, where people are over at their place all the time.
Fiona Tong, Director of Prayer and Intercession
With an educational background and training in spiritual formation, Fiona’s greatest joy is to see people grow in intimacy with Jesus and know the heart of the Father and His purposes for them. She joined staff in 2010 in prayer and intercession to equip the church in releasing the heart and purposes of God through prayer and intercession. Fiona, her husband Ben, and their two daughters, Anna and Alissa, live in Burbank, CA and enjoy skiing, reading, and putting puzzles together.
Evelyn Lo, Leadership Development Advisor
Evelyn joined as a volunteer staff member in 2010. Her desire is to see people realize the gift they are to the body of Christ and walk out the purposes, calling and destiny God has for each person.

Lawrence Huey, Lead Pastor – West LA Church Plant
Compelled by Jesus’ transforming love and power, Lawrence longs for God’s flourishing to be made manifest in and through all people. Serving with Epicentre since 2006, Lawrence pastors, disciples, and equips believers toward a fully surrendered pursuit of Jesus. He is involved in training lifegroup leaders & pastoral interns and partners with our senior pastor for strategy and implementation. He and his wife Sharon, along with their two daughters Sammie and Ellie and son Benjamin, live in Temple City, CA, where coffee, pastries, and BBQ’s are always in season. Lawrence and his family are preparing to launch a church plant in West Los Angeles come February 2013.
